RIVTEK rafts are engineered with features intended to enhance stability, comfort, and usability. However, no raft or paddling equipment can eliminate the inherent dangers of rafting and paddlesports. You should not interpret any description of safety features as a guarantee of protection from harm.
To reduce your risk while using RIVTEK products, you must follow these minimum safety practices:
- Receive proper paddlesports training from a qualified instructor.
- Obtain certified river rescue and first aid training. Carry appropriate first aid and rescue equipment.
- Always wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved personal flotation device (PFD).
- Dress appropriately for cold water and adverse weather conditions to guard against hypothermia.
- Inspect your equipment before each use for signs of wear, damage, or failure.
- Never paddle alone. Do not exceed your skill or experience level.
- Scout unfamiliar water and be aware of water levels, hazards, and current conditions.
- Be prepared to portage when necessary to avoid dangerous water features.
- Consult a physician before participating in paddlesports if you have any medical conditions.
- Never paddle under the influence of alcohol or mind-altering substances.

You agree to follow all safety practices and to use the product only as intended.
